ICMSM2021

The ICMSM 2021 was held from Sept 29-30, 2021. This two-day event was held virtually for the first time, and jointly organized by Monash University Malaysia and MSM. The event was officiated by the President and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Monash University Malaysia, Professor Andrew Walker. This event attracted 225 participants from 13 IPTAs, 14 IPTS and 13 government institutions. Two keynote and 7 plenary speakers delivered their inspiring talks, covering areas in medical, agricultural, environmental, food, industrial, molecular and general microbiology. The conference also featured 35 oral presentations and 60 rapid oral presentations. Participants of the conference found the congress was highly interesting and relevant as current issues were discussed. Prof. Dr. Sudesh Kumar from Universiti Sains Malaysia was announced as the recipient of MSM Award this year.
