The Malaysian Society for Microbiology is pleased to announce that the MSM Community Outreach Grant 2025 is open for application.

In recent years, the concept of "Universities for the Society" has gained prominence, urging educational institutions to translate their knowledge into meaningful community service. This initiative emphasizes the importance of universities playing an active role in benefiting society through the practical application of their expertise. Reflecting this initiative, the Malaysian Society for Microbiology (MSM) has launched the MSM Community Outreach Grant. This grant aims to facilitate the dissemination of microbiological knowledge to the community and raise public awareness about the field of Microbiology.

Grant award

The grant winners will each receive up to RM 5000 to conduct a microbiology-related program that will benefit the community. Two awards will be granted per year.
