INVITATION TO ICMSM2021
Dear Prof./Assoc. Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to announce that the Malaysian Society for Microbiology (MSM), in collaboration with Monash University Malaysia will organize the International Congress of the Malaysian Society for Microbiology 2021 (ICMSM2021) from 29 to 30 September 2021. The meeting will be conducted virtually via ZOOM.
This year’s theme "Teaming with Microbes: Solutions for Mankind" highlights the importance of microbes in addressing emerging issues in medical, agricultural, industrial, food and various fields of microbiology. Classical to frontier technologies and platforms have been utilised to tap into the richness, diversity and capabilities of microbes to yield benefits to humankind.
The ICMSM2021 will showcase various recent topics in Microbiology by distinguished keynote and plenary speakers, as well as selected oral speakers. The ICMSM2021 is also introducing a 3-minute rapid oral session designed to showcase several exciting compact and concise presentations. The Congress promises an attractive scientific programme, with opportunities for networking and collaboration while providing a fusion of knowledge, technologies, ideas, and innovation.
We hope that you will join us on this endeavour to learn, connect, collaborate and strengthen fundamental, applied and translational microbiological research in Malaysia.

Invitation to participate in Annual Scientific Meeting 2021 organised by the Australian Society for Microbiology (ASM)
Malaysian fellows are invited to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting 2021 organised by the Australian Society for Microbiology (ASM) running May 31st – June 3rd 2021.
The meeting is being held as a hybrid event, with face-to-face components taking place in Melbourne, Australia. The Organising Committee have invested heavily in a virtual platform that will ensure the meeting is engaging and interactive for virtual delegates that cannot travel due to COVID-19.
The meeting will explore a broad range of Microbiology topics and include plenary presentations from distinguished professors in Microbiology.
